I live at the Northgate for 1 ? years. Therefore, I know that you can hear every sound of your neighbors, on the side, above and below. I have been up many hours because of the noise and the security detail is slow and inconsistent. Many complaints go unsolved. The train is extremely loud; it makes noise throughout the night, every night. The management always says that mayoral procedures are in place to stop the noise. This is totally false, they have been saying it for years. It is not like a posh hotel, you can find a nicer place for cheaper. There is only one lock on the door and the walls are like paper.There are many young people that live here, but they are all male drunks. Which like to scream down the halls and ring everyones doorbells in the middle of the night. This is not a family friendly apartment complex.There have been many instances of crimes, including cars being broken into. The management says it issecureparking. My friends car got broken into three times in six months. Management said they installed cameras in the garage, but a closer look reveals only two. They only face the entrances, but not towards anyones cars. There has been a bomb threat, which a man killed himself. All residents were evacuated for hours and some days. There has been another shooting, but management will not discuss. However, rumor has it that a resident was killed by an intruder. The club that is near the apartment complex and the homeless shelter is the reason for the increase crime rate.Everyone that lives at the Northgate moves out within a year, because of the rent and crime. The hallways stink of garbage, because the garbage dump is on every floor.The other review is so roisy, which I believe that apartment managers have written the review. Take a closer look at this complex and its surroundings.The truth is a powerful thing, please beware of Northgate Apartments.
