| | | | Review Title: Toxic Mold Infests The Northgate Apartments | | | | | | Reviewer: Bsjohnson04@aol.com | | | | Review Date: 1/25/05 | | | | | | | Rate This Apartment | | | | | | | Northgate has a few little known secrets.My family was one of the first to move in.We had a water leak that was not fixed that eventually lead to massive mold growth on our items, on the walls, and in the walls.Our apartment stunk and it was so bad that we became ill!My husband collapsed and was taken off in an ambulance.He sustained permanent lung damage (lost 1/3 of lung volume).My son was constantly hospitalized and I was always sick.They tried to tell us it would not make us ill (fortunately I am a Biologist/Zoologist).They hid the reports from us for 2 years showing how dangerous the air quality samples were in our apartment!Their lawyer treated us horribly and would not even replace our moldy items!The sad thing is there are more mold problems and more water leaks!STAY AWAY - YOUR LIFE DEPENDS UPON IT.Also, their parking garage constantly had vehicles broken into.I recommend living somewhere that the landlords put your health and safety above $$$$ | | | | |
