Salt Lake Historic Building

Other than the gay man on the first floor who plays his trumpet during the day, I've never heard a sound out of my neighbors. Interesting people, artists, etc. The manager Lance is very accomodating, kind, won't penalize you for being late, and takes care of anything that you have an issue with. Building has wireless internet, and is Directv capable now that I've had the dish installed on the roof (Good luck getting them to do another dish, though). Parking has a couple of problems, you really can't have more than one car/motorcycle, otherwise you'll have to park on the street....which is difficult because there's some sort of specialty medical clinic next door. If you're on the west side of the building you might be a little bit freaked out to see a mirrored building outside that you can see yourself in, but it definitely has some advantages: lets MORE light into the place, and you can see the sunrise from the wrong side of the sky :) which is crazy. Right across the street from a mansion which has been converted to a mortuary! I thought it would bother me but it actually keeps crime down and keeps the street quiet. Near everything, reasonably priced, exposed brick, hardwood floors, lots of windows!! |
