Apartment Review for City View Apartments - Salt Lake City, UT

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. Greg appears very sweet in the beginning but very soon you realise that you have a swindler in him. My apartment had head paid, but the temperatures were always below 60. I had to call the maintainance several times(once every 15 days) to get it fixed. sometimes had sleepless nights becoz of the cold. When u call Greg he says, no one else in the building feels cold and so I should get my own heater. The thermostat is locked, so you cant change the temperature yourself. We had a two bedroom apartment, and he would let us park only one car. The other car had to be parked on the street and we ended up getting tickets. Inspite of keeping the apartment clean and tidy, we never got the deposit back. Instead he gave us a bill. Half of your deposit is non refundable, but that does not count towards any bill that you get. The bill is deducted from the refundable and any extra amount you gotta pay. I lost $700 in deposits(including pet deposit) plus had to pay additional money. Greg is extremely abusive and controlling, especially takes advantage of international students. The complex did not have recycling for a long time. The renters tried to form a union to complain about recycling and other stuff, and the effort was thwarted by the management.
